I wanted to say a huge thank you to Lauren and the team at MiliMili! I couldn't have had a better experience with you and we tried a LOT of dresses on at other shops. The best way to describe the shop is, if you don't want to look like every other bride - try here. They have incredible designer gowns that you can't find elsewhere. “I was instantly made to feel so welcome by Lauren, and felt under no time pressure to pick the dresses I wanted to try on. She gave input when needed and guided me to the right dress without making me feel pressured into choosing a particular dress!
I had another appointment elsewhere which I still went to and was very different to the above... and after, I knew MY dress was with MiliMili. Lauren stayed after hours for me to go back and try it on again! I fell in love and bought it there and then. “I couldn't have done it without you.”
I had an appointment at MiliMili. As it was my first time trying on dresses, I wasn't too sure what I was looking for and wasn't necessarily looking to find the one. After briefly explaining the sort of thing I thought I might like, I chose some dresses and began trying them on. After the first few dresses I think it was obvious that I wasn't choosing quite the right thing. Lauren asked whether it would be okay if she chose something for me. She came back with a dress that I wouldn't in a million years have chosen for myself. I instantly knew it was the one. It takes a real professional to (politely) ignore everything you're saying and find a dress that looks and feels amazing for you, especially when the customer doesn't have a clue :-) Thank you so very much, I really couldn't have done it without you. Lauren was perfection. I work in New York but live in Colchester. I walked into MiliMili with 6 weeks to my wedding. ALL other shops in Colchester turned up their nose at my time frame, and pointed me to the sale rail. Lauren treated me like a bride from the second I walked in. She did everything she could from working with Ian Stuart and a local dressmaker to make sure I had the dress I wanted. I had my Church wedding. Without her I fear I would have been in a suit.
